Every five years, and updated annually, the CESA #11 Head Start program conducts a Community Assessment to better understand the needs of families and young children in our service area. This assessment helps us:

  • Learn more about our communities, families, and children

  • Identify gaps in services such as child care, health care, nutrition, and disability support

  • Plan how to deliver Head Start services more effectively and equitably

We gather the latest data on:

  • Population and demographics

  • Early learning programs

  • Health and nutrition

  • Services for children with disabilities

  • Family and social services

This information helps us:

  • Improve how we enroll and serve children

  • Support families facing the greatest challenges

  • Partner with local agencies to meet real community needs

Ultimately, the Community Assessment is a tool that helps our program, families, and partners work together to build stronger, healthier, and more supportive communities.
