Our Head Start Center Based Program for 3-5 Year-Old Children Offers:
A classrooms that is staffed with Early Childhood degreed teachers.
One Teacher with two Teacher Assistants in each classroom of 20 children.
Class four days a week (Monday through Thursday).
Two home visits and two parent/teacher conferences yearly.
Classrooms that are designed to enhance school readiness through the domains of language and literacy development, cognition and general knowledge, approaches to learning, physical well-being and motor development and social and emotional development.
The opportunity for children to learn at their own pace, in the way preschoolers learn best.... through play!
4K classroom experiences in collaboration with many school districts.
Creative Curriculum is the curriculum used by all programs.
On-going assessment using Teaching Strategies Gold.
Two free meals for every child each day of attendance (breakfast/lunch or lunch/snack).
Actively involving parents with developing goals for their child.
Classroom activities and events for parents to to participate in.
Teachers individualize activities to meet the needs of each child.
